Needed to have the loose hinge of my spectacles fixed, enquired at this store as wished to support local businesses. I was abruptly told that as I did not purchase the glasses at this store they would not help me. I advised them that I was willing to pay and that it was just a hinge screw that needed replacing, again I was told that they were not willing to help me as I had bought the glasses elsewhere. I enquired as to where would be able to help...their response was a blunt "I don't know!!". Customer service 0, no wonder independent stores like this are going down left-right-and centre to the larger high-street brands...who by the way fixed the glasses, no questions asked, no charge made, and were very curtious.
I wish Lawrence Jenkinson Opticians a rapid but painful demise ...
