Haythorne Place Nursing Home- Roseberry Care Centres

AVOID AT ALL COSTS If I could give this absolute dump minus stars I would. We had to place mum here last September as she was stuck in hospital and no space anywhere else but it's awful. She's no clothes 'oh the laundry has a machine broken' terrible quality food is just plonked in front of someone with advanced dementia who can't use cutlery, she's often in pull ups full of wee. Meds changed without telling us and they blame GP who hasn't authorised. Told we couldn't visit start of year as they had covid wasn't till a month later we questioned citing gov guidance they said oh yes one person could visit all along. Staff are lovely but completely overwhelmed, useless agency staff at weekends and anything that has to be organised centrally just doesn't happen. You wouldn't treat an animal like this and we are paying nearly 1000 a week!!!! Awful just awful.

Haythorne place I can also see that you have removed my old review in which I mentioned names. But dont worry I will keep writing reviews. Mark my words. These poor old people who are being cared for by people who dont actually care. This place needs to be shut down.

Yasmin Ali, as a Muslim myself, I would never ever even dream of putting my family into a care home as in Muslim traditions youre supposed to care after your elderly as they looked after you when you were younger. You shouldnt put the blame and the guilt onto the people that have stepped up to look after the family member youve chosen not to look after. Blaming other people for your guilt is never right. In the eyes of Allah, your family and you are in charge of you family members health and well-being, no one else. I have nothing put praises for every member of the Haythorne Place staff Team.
