This care home really doesn't care; management have no clue about the differing needs of residents. The full list of errors when my family member was in this place is too long to go into but staff were caught in lies numerous times. I really believe this home needs to be closed down, they couldn't even formulate a coherent care plan, they promised things they knew that they were unable to deliver and there was no sense of urgency when working with residents. One of the challenges with most care homes is that often residents lack capacity so are unable to tell when things are not right. My relative had full capacity and for them this was a problem, they made my relative feel as if they were being difficult when asking for the simplest thing. I understand that there have been numerous challenges over the past 2 years but a little compassion would not go amiss as the challenges did not only face care home staff. The CQC seem to be toothless and unable to identify and address the poor practice in care homes like this. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
