I've had my boots well over seven years and apart from summer holidays I wore them nearly every day for four years Mostly walking to work, in all weather. They are very robust and I have had them resoled twice, the uppers are now a bit worn so I use them for "work" and dog walking. The most sustainable way to own shoes is to buy them from a maker who can repair them. A great shop with fantastic personal service.

I have wanted a pair of handmade boots for years & finally found NobleandWylie. I wanted a pair for a 'big' birthday. Both Kenneth and Amy helped me choose what colour leather - red and green - and how they could be put together. They were so friendly and helpful and put a novice buyer of handmade boots at her ease. I collected my boots on my birthday. What a present! They needed a little tweaking, but now they're perfect - light and very comfortable. I love my boots. Highly recommended. Brilliant customer service.

Brought some shoes oringinally bought from both Guat shoes and Noble & Wylie (when they were on School Road in Crookes) to be resoled. They have been restored beautifully including reinforced at the rear. Highly recommended.

Update 23 June 2022: Just had a pair of shoes and a pair of boots resoled by (and originally from) Noble & Wylie. The shoes I've had since 2006 and the boots since 2014, still going strong and ridiculously comfortable. Great job on the resoles, too.
