Mayfield Therapy

I approached Mayfield therapy, having developed shoulder and upper back pain along with postural problems from desk work. Like others, this exasperated during the pandemic with home working. Theresa was very knowledgeable, friendly and understanding. The course was tailored to my particular needs. I always come away from the sessions feeling relaxed and refreshed. The massages, along with some strengthing exercises, have resulted in less aches and pains, increased mobility and better posture. Highly recommend!

I contacted Theresa on the recommendation of a friend as I was suffering from ongoing sciatic pain ! Theresa suggested a hot stone massage ! I have to say this was a heavenly experience, her main focus was easing the tightness in my lower back / buttocks but included massage on my upper back , neck and shoulders . The aromatic oils she used and the heat of the stones added to the whole experience ! Only afterwards did I realise how much tension Id been holding ! I came away feeling relaxed and with an almost instant relief from the pain . Theresa also suggested some simple techniques I could use at home before returning for a follow up appointment if and when necessary . Thank you .

As a long standing customer I am very happy to give Mayfield Therapy five stars and would definitely recommend it. I really look forward to my regular massage sessions and always come away feeling refreshed, relaxed and revived. The massage room is always spotless, with beautiful aromotherapy and soothing sounds to make it even easier to relax and unwind. Theresa is a skillful therapist who has really helped to ease my aches and pains both through her thorough massages and helpful advice.

I found Mayfield Therapy after a bad back injury left me in severe pain. Initially getting medical treatment was slow and frustrating but I knew really good massage therapy would help me enormously. Finding Theresa was the best thing that could have happened. She listened to my story, asked questions, showed immense empathy and made me feel cared for. I went regularly and came away from each session more mobile and in less pain. She takes all treatment at a pace that suits you and her therapy room is a calm haven in a mad world. I can definitely recommend her treatments and despite being better will continue to go for top-ups because they make you feel so good.
