I bought a pair of left handed scissors on back order - they arrived much quicker than expected. They are also a thing of great beauty, beautifully made and presented. Yes, they are pretty expensive for a pair of scissors. But, for something so well crafted, it's worth it.

Im travelling into Sheffield tomorrow and wondering if theres any point in heading to the shop to try and buy a pair of scissors or if everything is just sold out and backordered? Is there anything available in the shop?

Ive ordered a pair on 9th of December 2021 and after 26 weeks (June 9th 2022) still havent received them. Its 22nd of June as of today and I still didnt get a response to my emails regarding the dispatch estimate. Ive tried calling them once and the phone wasnt picked up. Kind of disappointed as Ive spent 90 for the scissors I might never see. Edit: I got an answer from the company, will update the review once I receive my order

I just received my scissors (Turtons) after a rather long wait, but wow they are amazing! Great packaging and quality, very happy with my purchase. Communication was very good too, I was concerned at some point about the wait but they responded quickly with an update.

I have two pairs; the embroidery scissors and the kitchen ones. They are both fantastic! The kitchen ones have a great weight, grip and so far have cut through everything ( meat etc). I live in Australia, so postage + Covid meant I did wait a bit. But I don't mind waiting for such a well made product from a small business.
