On 22/4/23, I and my friend were kicked out from the pub by the securities for no reason. Since we are Asians / dark skinned they were more racist to us which was totally unacceptable. We respect everyone and treat them well but it was so disappointing which they had done to us !!

Horrific transphobia amongst bouncers. Went out in a large group of around 15 and everyone was admitted entry other than our trans friend who was the only sober one. We asked them to give a reason why and all they could come up with was come back in half an hour. They said she wasnt stumbling or slurring her words and couldnt provide any explanation to the denial of the entry. When the rest of the group came out to join us the bouncers went to other establishments down west street and told them to not admit our friend either. We were visibly upset but not rowdy or agressive when discussing this with them and the only explanation we could come up with is blatant transphobia. Horrible night that has ramifications beyond the bouncers imagination to our friend who is likely to be affected by this situation for years to come
