I am a sole trader who was asked to do an urgent visit to see a Sanctuary tenant. I gave my fee which was agreed via email, visited the tenant in December 2022 (who was 2 hours drive away) and completed a comprehensive report as was requested. I sent my invoice but have had to chase and chase to no avail. I did receive a very curt email from someone who I have had no dealings with asking who had instructed me as this is not something Sanctuary would pay for. Frankly that is not my issue and these matters should have been dealt with internally. Despite advising him that this was agreed by a different team, I had still not been paid at the beginning of April. I therefore completed a formal complaint saying I was happy to take this to the small claims court. Coincidentally I got paid that same week, but have had no acknowledgment or response to my complaint which according to their complaints procedure should happen within 10 days of making it. I do however want to say thank you to Kevin in the aids and adaptations team who I have had a number of conversations with and has always responded promptly and professionally. Unfortunately, as an administrator he was not in a position to pay me. Overall this has left me with a very poor impression of the organisation.

Total shambles of a landlord do nothing to help you expect you to do everything repairs section are useless nothing compared to the council

I did receive a very curt email from someone who I have had no dealings with asking who had instructed me as this is not something Sanctuary would pay for. I therefore completed a formal complaint saying I was happy to take this to the small claims court. Overall this has left me with a very poor impression of the organisation.
