This hotel is in need of refurbishment, it's tired looking with 80s decor and fittings.
Our double room was not a double but a 3/4 bed, fittings were hanging off the wall and no TV remote to use the TV. On arrival the room had the sun flooding in with all windows closed so we could not manage more than 10 minutes in the room. However staff were nice and friendly and gave us another room, nothing was too much trouble.
From 5am in the morning the noise outside started and didn't stop! bin wagons, street cleaners, trollies rattling over the cobbles, etc, etc, so we didn't really sleep.
Was OK for the money with staff very accomodating but unfortunately I will not be staying here again
