What a waste of money my hair was worse after my hair was coloured asked for Ash blonde what I got was stripes in my hair and the coloured bleed on to my scalp went back to get my money back she refused and coloured it again with a cap to cover the mess she made to my hair I will never go back again not happy

I am extremely disappointed with the haircut I received from Rootz. I called beforehand to book and asked for a cut and blow, thinking I'd treat myself. When I arrived I waited outside for someone to collect me and take me to my seat, as the sign said. My appointment time was 1pm, and I was sat down inside promptly at 1pm, however I wasn't then spoken to again until 1:20pm when the hairdresser finally arrived and asked "What are we doing today?". This was my first time at this salon as my previous hairdresser has retired, so I assumed she was asking how I would like my hair cutting today, I replied with "just a trim really, with my layers adding back in as I haven't had it cut for a long time due to lockdown, and I have it shorter at the front to frame my face". I was under the impression, that as I had in fact booked a cut and blow, that I wasn't suppose to answer this question with "a cut and blow please" as I assumed she would already know this from my booking (especially since I had spoken to the owner on the phone, and she was the one cutting my hair!). Apparently this is not the case?! She proceeded to trim my dry hair, making polite chit chat as she was doing so, explaining that she wouldn't be adding layers like I had asked saying that they would somehow look weird, even though my previous hairdresser did add them in and they never looked odd. When she had finished (a mere 15 minutes later) she simply walked away... She didn't even ask if I was happy with it or say goodbye or anything, her assistant just asked "Did you bring a coat today?" in order to give me the nudge I clearly needed to understand that that was my cue to leave! And then they charged me 20 for the privilege! I will not be returning, and strongly encourage others not to try this salon unless you want to be extremely disappointed.
