Understaffed or oversubscribed I can't tell, but it's a nightmare trying to even contact them hold times are ridiculous and even when you get to the front of the queue and it starts ringing you're waiting a good 5 minutes.

Always such lovely care from all practitioners and reception staff. Yes it's a busy practice but my family and I have always received excellent medical care since 2007.

I wouldn't recommend this doctors surgery. I am trying to find a new one. After moving to this area I have never know a service where it is impossible to book a doctors appointment. I have had to use the walk-in centre in town. They asked me to call at 8.30 in a morning but I was on hold a very long time and needed to go to work and had to call back at lunch and and then told I need to call in a morning or submit this form but I submit this form and don't here for over 24hours and then they don't have appointments or ask me to go to Jordonthrope but this is difficult. Just honestly such a useless service.

The normal practice here is to spend 50 min on a phone and then 1h more waiting in the waiting room. Need to sign up only the same day before 9am (I.e if you didn't join a call by 8.30am - no chance for the appointment). If you asked for a call back (can happen any time during the week) and missed it once, all the process starts over from the beginning. May not be the surgery fault but definitely a struggle for the patients

I have been with Woodseats medical centre since 2014 and I cant say I have ever had a problem with getting a same day appointment! Granted you have to call at 08:30 and may be on hold for 30 minutes but what surgery isnt like that?! The move to the new building across the road was a god send and Ive always felt staff and clinicians are so friendly and give you the time of day. Ill be so sad to leave but I have unfortunately moved over 45 minutes away. I cant fault the medical centre and would absolutely recommend it to anybody who likes a quiet and clean reception area, same day prescriptions and a fast service. I have always been the running joke in my circles that I am never out of the doctors and thanks to Woodseats who always got me in, I could keep the joke going.
