Mark's Lawn Service

Mark and his team laid down a new lawn with a raised bed at one end. He clearly cared about how it would all look and provided some good ideas, such as putting in a step to the side of the raised bed up to make access easier. The team of 3 were all very friendly and provided lots of information on aftercare. I am delighted with the end result and would highly recommend them. Service: Sod installation

Mark is fantastic at what he does, we originally booked him for general garden maintenance work, weeding, pruning etc.. However after speaking with him for a short amount of time and noticing the quality and care he puts into his work we booked him in for various other jobs.. ..since then he has re-landscaped and turfed our lawn, (which was a big job to be honest as it was a total wasteland), now its beautiful, thick, lush grass which just looks incredible. He has just finished installing a slatted fence down one side of the property, which again looks brilliant. All the while keeping on top of the priority jobs such as weeding and pruning etc. so the garden stays looking good and in shape ready for spring. Mark & his partner Georgie often share their ideas and inspiration for flowers, plants etc tailored to our tastes which they have seen in their own time, or in other peoples gardens etc, something I do appreciate and shows that they are passionate and fully absorbed in what they do. Were doing full renovations on our house, we are 2 years in to a 5 year job, Ive dealt with all kinds of tradesmen (including gardeners / landscapers before I met Mark). Mark is definitely the best of them, the work he has done has been invaluable and has made the biggest impact / immediate improvement so far. I honestly couldnt recommend him highly enough.

Earlier this year, Mark carried out a difficult to access, garden clearance and tidy for us in a mainly hard landscaped garden. He transformed what was a small overgrown patch into something that looked twice the size after he had finished. Hedges were beautifully cut, shrubs heavily cut back, York stone brought back to life with a power wash and then re-gravelled in between. New fencing erected and all rubbish taken away at the end of the job. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so happy with the work. This meant a few weeks ago - he was my go to, when I needed a tree heavily pruning to a third of its size - I left the entire job in his capable hands and was delighted when I saw the results.
