After the passing of my brother, our first contract was with a lovely lady called Kelly. She helped us through an emotional time and explained everything so simply. They took great care of my brother and I truly can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend Fair cost funerals. From the very start they were brilliant, called on new yrs day to say they had him in their care and what would happen from there.. Tonia was brilliant came to see me and asked what we wanted with no pressure to add onto the full package other than what we asked for extra... Recommended the celebrant, who was amazing. I cant believe how easy she made it for us. Would highly recommend and have already instructed family this is who i will be using!

Can not thank them enough for their professionalism and help at my mums funeral which helped make a difficult time a lot easier. Highly recommend them.

I came across this service from an advertisement in a booklet supplied by the Sheffield Registrar. It gave a price for a funeral service unlike many of the other advertisers who should realize that self praise in no praise. When I rang them I spoke to Tonia who was friendly but professional just the sort of approach I needed after losing my wife. She told me exactly what the quoted price was for and asked if I wanted any extra services and then gave me a price for them. Things such as an extra vehicle, what flowers I would like, etc. On the day everything ran as smooth as clockwork. Tonia walked in front of the hearse off my road, and again walked in front of the hearse as the small convoy arrived at the entrance to the crematorium. My two grandsons had requested to be coffin bearers and Tonia introduced them to the other bearers who gave the instructions. She walked by my side into the chapel and even asked which side I wanted to sit on.Rachel Marsden was the celebrant Tonia provided was so good She came to my home after arranging a convenient time and sat and chattered about my wife and her likes and dislikes, her hobbies, friends in fact she coaxed from us all facets of my wife's life so that when she was eulogising you would have thought she has known my wife for years as a friend and confidant. I didn't want a religious service although Rachel could have given me one if that was what I wanted. She also helped me with a poem and in the choice of the music saying the music to play as we were leaving should be a little more happier to lift people's spirits. Afterwards Tonia personally extracted flowers from the flowers as a momento and the put the remainder into the garden of remembrance. The then drove us to the public house where we celebrated the wake. To sum up Tonia represented a totally professional but caring and friendly service. At the times I totally 'lost it' she was there to murmur to me advice to take my time, take a moment. When I needed a hug she was there to give me one.
