Handsworth Fish Bar

This place is one of the worst chip shops of all time time! Rude staff tiny portions that are overpriced this place has got it all, a long wait all for nothing at all never coming here ever again. I want my money back but the staff have probably forgotten how to open the register!

So, it had been a while since I had had any fish and chips and I was just fancying some. So, I decided to try Handsworth Fish Bar.......... to be honest, I wish I hadn't bothered. OK, so the fish, while on the slightly small side, tasted fine. It wasn't horrible, but it certainly could have been better. The battered sausage tasted flat, but that was saved by the curry sauce being quite nice. The chips, however.........dam, those were bad. Lots of black bits and eyes left in them with hardly any taste. What taste there was was weak and flat. They need a LOT of salt. Also, everything was cold. I ordered via Ubereats and the driver came directly to my house, it took him just over 5 minutes, the food should not have been that temperature unless it was already cold when it was packed. Other than the curry sauce everything else was a massive disappointment. I'll not be ordering from here again and I don't recommend you do either.

Treated ourselves to fish and chips for the first time in ages. Well cooked and just a standard portion was easily enough for two people. Will visit again

Very small portions, always missing items for what id normally get for a chippy tea.
