Kevin Burns has fixed me when I'm broken for many years now, and fixes things thoroughly and efficiently in minimal visits - no dragging out the treatment unnecessarily. Would recommend this practice with no hesitation whatsoever, I wouldn't go anywhere else now (and I had tried a fair few previously).

Kevin has looked after me since my 20s and I am now 51. He has literally saved my neck, and back, through years of a desk job. I am now suffering from some inevitable degenerative changes associated with many years at a desk but he has provided me with immensely valuable education, not just effective treatment, to help me understand and manage this. I wouldnt go anywhere else as I know my neck is in the best of hands! He has also treated leg length discrepancy in my daughter when she was younger and she now has lovely even legs. He is now doing the same for her twin brother who has developed the same issue going into his teens. It is so important kids are checked for this problem, at the latest going into their teen years so this can easily be corrected with a shoe raise and avoid the horrible problems associated with scoliosis.

I went to see Kevin after an accident at work on the advice of my father.in view of the wait for NHS Physio treatment. I was seen immediately. I was assessed and have received excellent treatment Anthony Baker review I had an industrial accident in 1991 which left me with various problems. I tried Physiotherapy and acupuncture without success, I saw a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1994 who suggested I see Kevin. Kevin treated me.and I found immediate benefit. The degenerative nature of the condition necessitates I see Kevin or indeed Malcolm, on a regular basis to keep on top of the problems. This works really well for me. Both are excellent.practitioners. I am able to function so much better. after treatment.. Both Kevin and Malcolm have become firm friends. I have complete confidence in both. My late wife was also treated by Kevin for a neck problem. On the initial visit Kevin detected another problem and used his influence for her to get fast treatment at hospital. The condition had been missed by her GP's. I too had a similar problem some years ago which Kevin picked up on and treated me for which my then GP had misdiagnosed. The staff are really good and always arrange for me to be seen at short notice if I encounter problems resulting from falls that I have. I know I am not on my own in recommending this practice and do so with absolute confidence based on my own experiences.

My wife went here for help with a herniated disc but after only a few minutes consultation she received her manipulation treatment , the consultant said he'd arrange X-rays but this was going to be done after her first treatment which seems an odd way round to do it considering the history of her injury . She came out with moderate pain but this got so bad the next day she had to spend days recovering in bed , her lower back and buttocks were bruised and it took another 4 weeks to recover to her original state . The consultant did phone to find out why we cancelled and said this was normal and would be more gentle next time but she refused to put herself through that again . We did send a written complaint to the practice but they never replied so in our experience not a good service . Think long and hard before trying this form of treatment and I'd insist on x-rays first . For certain types of injuries physio may be a more gentle and effective form of treatment as a starting point .
