VILE. I am so disappointed. Having visited and enjoyed Ji Chicken before at the main branch at Goodfriend in Londons Chinatown, I was so excited to finally get to eat it in my hometown. Sadly this was really an unpleasant experience for my tastebuds. The staff were polite here but the chicken was disgusting.. We ordered strips, popcorn, gizzards and the volcanic cheesy chicken. It was all cooked fresh but it wasn't hot inside at all. The cheese inside the volcano is still hard and cold! The interior of the popcorn and strips were full of greasy oil, and the meat had a foul flavour. I think the fryer was not hot enough but all of this food had to be thrown into the trash! It's like throwing money into the trash too! I am offended that the food was sold in this condition. My lemon tea was fine, but every piece of chicken was DISGUSTING. I would not say these things if it was untrue, I leave a lot of food reviews and always give an honest assessment. I hope to visit the Leeds or London branch again because I want to get my fix! I just can't recommend that you visit the Sheffield branch, it's dangerous to serve food in this condition!

Messed up my Bubble Tea 2 times in a row. I was the only one in the shop. Made me wait more than 10 minutes for a single drink. First time forgot to put pearls. Second time got pearls, but absolutely no sugar as I requested.
