Absolutely terrible mechanic, i thought he was someone I could trust, it was far from it. He couldnt do the simple job I asked him to do. I needed a motor wiper linkage doing. Rob said to me Ill be better off ordering the parts myself so I did thats what I did. So on Thursday I left my car with him all day as I had to get to work. After work I went to pick my car up & the wipers seemed fine, I was please because I thought hed done the job. I was due to go away to Staffordshire over the weekend so it was urgent that it needed doing as it forecasted rain. Anyway yesterday I went to Alton Towers, it was late and driving back home with my friend, it had been raining most of the day, and it was that horrible spray, bare in mind it was dark about 9pm last night, driving on Staffordshire countryside roads late in the rain, when my windscreen wipers stopped working, it was very dangerous, it couldve caused me to have an accident, because I couldnt see. Luckily Id just managed to pull over & clear my windscreen myself, but only temporarily though because it was raining, bare in mind I needed to get back home to Sheffield & my friend also needed to get back home. Without a clear windscreen, I could barely see. Im absolutely fuming with Rob, he had not done the simple job, Id asked him to do & id put my trust in him to do. When I rang him this morning to make the complaint , the customer service was absolutely shocking, he doesnt know the meaning of it. In fact the worst experience ever. He started shouting at me and tried twisting it round on me and saying its my fault. He was the one who was meant to do the job, which he hasnt or else my wipers wouldnt stop working, theyve gone back to square one to the reason I took it into the garage for, for the linkage to be done, he hasnt done it or else my wipers would be working with no problem. Its the fact that Rob also put me in danger, I couldve had an accident because I trusted that hed done the job that Id asked him to do and he hadnt. The other thing also is my steering is also out of alignment since being in the garage and he also twisted that round on me also. He hasnt looked after my car either. I may have only got a Nissan micra but I expect my car to be treated the same way as any other car and I expect it to come out in the condition it went in. But with Rob this was certainly not the case. I shall not be using him ever again. And I absolutely wouldnt recommend him, unless you want a cowboy service, because this is experience I received. To be honest I wouldnt give one star.
