My business has grown way past my expectations and so I can no longer do everything myself any more. However, I didn't have any of my systems and processes documented so that I could allow someone else to help. I asked Elaine if she was available to support me in initially documenting systems and processes (and helping me streamline and automate where possible) through her Virtual Business Manager services. Then to take on some of the admin tasks for me through her Virtual Assistant service. I have to say she is an incredible resource. I feel totally confident that not only is my business going to be documented, but also improved as Elaine is fantastic at spotting gaps and possible improvements. Honestly, Elaine's services are the best investment I could ever make into my business. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I am a sole trader who realised I couldn't do everything on my own, nor did I want to. I wanted to focus on the reason I started working for myself, not the administration of everything. Doing what gets us out of bed in the morning fired up and wanting to make a difference, is important to me; so finding Spero Solutions was a boon. One of my questions on our zoom interview was about just that and Elaine's reason for doing what Spero does resonated with me. It's about giving time back, having someone to focus on the details of running the business so you can deliver great work and work on the business. Having someone with a practical and strategic mind to bounce things off is also an unintended benefit of choosing to work with Spero over other options.

I first met Elaine at a networking event in Sheffield. Things were getting pretty busy for us as a business and we were starting to fall behind on some of the admin tasks involved in running electrical company. I have previously worked with a number of VA over the years so I knew what to expect, however a big selling point for me with Elaine was when she sent over an email containing a a pdf list of all the services she can assist me with this was a really useful tool for helping me decide what jobs I will continue doing and what jobs I would deligate to Elaine team. We had our initial meeting a couple of weeks before lockdown started. I made my decision at that meeting that Elaine fitted the criteria that our business required, however due to the new restrictions that the lock down brought and the lack of new business coming into the business I thought that taking on new staff may not be the best solution for that time. I spent the next couple of weeks planning, worrying, pondering & panicking about what Issues that the lockdown may bring. After a couple of weeks of reflection I got back in touch with Elaine and gave her the go-ahead to start our work together as a knew that the valuable time away from my business and having the support of a VA was a golden opportunity that shouldnt be missed. We started to build up a working relationship gradually giving Elaine some simple task of organising emails and Google Drive files and various other organising tasks that had fell behind over the past few years. I was very impressed by the efficiency and simplicity that Elaine and Spero brought to our current systems.. As our working relationship grew and we grew trust in Elaine and her team we started to delegate more more general maintenance tasks which eventually lead to Elaine helping us develop and improve our business. Elaine is now a key member of our power team and attends regular meetings to keep up to speed with development and growth of our company, she has been working on a large project to bring all our telephone scripts in line with our service app and has helped in the development of our subcontractor recruitment process. Elaine sends me a weekly report on how much time she spent on each part of our business and is in regular contact to see where she can help me in the future. Elaines background in construction and business development has been a real asset to Smart Electricians and I feel she really is a cut above other VA that I have worked with in previous years. We also use Spero solutions for our property company, Elaine and her team have been creating marketing content sharing across our social media platforms.
