Great brunch menu. Went for the pancakes and salmon Benedict and they were great. Service was also great. Overall very satisfying experience.

My husband and I went for afternoon tea today. We arrived 5mins early so we were shown to the bar and would be collected when our table was ready. We waited and waited untill after 25 mins my husband asked a member of staff about our table to which she replied 'oh your here for the afternoon tea' your tables ready we didn't know you were here. So we were shown a table, waited ages for a member of staff to take our order for tea. Waited ages for it to come. Cold!!! Both pots cold!! You could hold the tea pots in the palm of your hand they were that cold. No spoons or sugar. My husband had to go ask. Then literally after a sip we returned the drinks due to them being cold. Waitress returned with more... This time luke warm at a push BUT AGAIN no tea spoons!!! We honestly thought this was a joke! The service was dreadful! Food arrived, rubbish, not worth the money at all. 1 scone each, 1 burnt, cream to share, bit of Jam to share. There were no dinner plates so had to use the plate that had had prawn sandwiches on to then butter the scone etc.... Tiny bits of cake and dry sandwiches. So disappointed. We both left our drinks and asked to take the bits of cake home for our kids. By this point there was a very very drunk man at a table near us arguing with his party - yet staff still brought over more lager and food. When we looked he had food all over his face slurring and making a scene. We promptly left and will not return or recommend. The tea was a Christmas present too from our Daughter. So disappointed.
