He has been more than happy to give honest open thoughts, that i think are of such high value. I needed someone to produce drawings and a Building Regulations Application for the installation of a floor and three rooms in the roof of my bungalow. I was advised to contact Chris. He drove 200 miles to measure up and discuss our requirements. He offered advice on the best way to arrange the rooms, run the plumbing, fit the staircase, on insulation options and requirements, on appropriate materials,etc.. He quickly produced the necessary drawings and application. The application passed at the first attempt, and we went through the inspection procedure with no problems. We are very pleased with the way the layout looks and works. A comprehensive and thorough service.

We appointed Chris to design and produce drawings for a new kitchen extension for our home. From day one Chris was fantastic and very helpful, coming up with a few ideas and options that we had not thought of, for how we could make the most of our new space and how important natural light is. We had never done any building work before and he made the whole process very easy for us, taking care of all the applications needed. We would highly recommend him and if we ever decide to do any more extension work we will certainly be using Brightman Architects.

As a builder and property developer we have used this company on more than one project because of the quality service provided. From our very first dealings with them they have maintained a very professional, customer driven service, producing interesting design ideas and solutions to maintenance / build problems from the outset. Potential planning problems have been considered and resolved at the outset, meaning that the applications have always run smoothly without any major issues. The construction drawings detail all foreseeable issues that need to be highlighted are included on highly detailed builders works plans and sections and almost as importantly for me, the drawings are extremely clear allowing me to leave my workers with copies knowing that they are clear in what is expected. This is great because previous practices have provided minimal information meaning that I have had to spend a large amount of my time managing site works instead of carrying out my main duties running the business. I cant recommend this practice highly enough and would encourage any property developers, builders or domestic clients alike to use them for their projects.
