        I had a fabulous Anagama experience at Phoenix Pottery which is set in beautiful grounds with the kiln at the end of a large garden. We brought pieces from the UK and were able to build new pieces while we were there which were all fired in the kiln. We had a three day firing where we were able to experience the process and immerse ourselves into the rhythms of the kiln. When our work was drying and the kiln cooling we managed to go on some trips to temples and a great bird reserve. We also met lots of interesting people. I would have liked the accommodation to have been closer to the pottery.

        As a professional of creative arts, Ravis pottery making resonated with me. Upon arrival of the pots ordered, the family decided to place them with bonsai plants on the mantel above the brick fireplace. The earth colors blend nicely with my living room dcor. It was as if my vision coincided with the creative artwork of Ravis designs. I savor every sip of coffee from the beautifully designed turquoise mugs also. I now wonder what he has in store next. Wishing Ravi all the very best in his one of a kind artwork.

        So happy with this lovely work by Ravi. Went to school with him in Madras and had no idea that he had this insane talent hidden away. Love my vase and hope to commission more in the future.
