Not the best! March 2022 - We had a large mound of garden waste to be removed, posted a picture on Facebook of which was asked to message HWD directly, conversation went to chat, they said we can clear for 180 +vat based on the picture then sent directly. We agreed and booked in a date for removal to happen. On the day no one turned up. I had to chase, of which I was told they would be there the following day. They turned up, completed half a day, then said they would need to come back later today as they needed tools. They did not come back. When chased they said they wont be coming back until following week as it was more than anticipated. They did not turn up on the agreed day. I chased again, they then came back next day. They did not finish and left about 1/3rd of the worst of the waste. Never heard from them again no messages, calls anything. Was left with still a large mound to deal with. June 2022 2 employees turn up at my front door, informing me that because we havent paid, (was never invoiced or informed of how to pay) That full payment is required by the end of the day or else they will be bringing back what they took 3 months ago. When speaking to the manager Tom, it was allegedly a quote and that I should have read the website because he underestimated the workload. Therefore, because he was at a loss, it was for me to pay the full value, despite them not actually completing the work. The poor service that we had was due to sickness and unreliable staff, however for some reason that was not apologised for or acknowledged, but my fault and should pay the full value as it cost him more to remove what they had taken. As a customer it was not for me to make up for the short fall of his ability to quote for work. Agreed to pay for 2/3rds which was questionable of what they did, otherwise the waste was going to be returned. Wouldnt use again.

Terrible company. Cancelled on me 3 times. Claimed their van had been written off and would not be able to collect. They didn't refund and ended up ghosting me. I've since claimed back via my bank and now they are whinging via email to me Service: Construction debris removal
