I worked for lapis care for 2 years and with there support i gained a level 3 in health and social care i have since moved on and im currently working in a care home but what a wonderful company lapis is they were so supportive and helped me to gain my confidence so much so that i had the courage to move on but couldnt have done that with out them beliveing in me. I feel so grateful to them all staff are amazing and client are well carered for and every works well togetger .thank you to everyone at lapis are and i will always keep in touch with them all amaxing care company what a wonderful lapis family you all are . I have worked at Lapis Care for nearly 3 years. My experience has been highly positive and I feel if you want to work in domiciliary care this is the place to be. They have worked hard to produce a robust and informative induction package so staff feel welcomed and supported. Benefits include contracted hours so you get paid per shift not per client. You are positively encouraged to develop professionally, with support through NVQ level 2 and 3 available. Lapis is owned and managed by two nurses whose vision right from the start has been to change the face of domiciliary care and provide the best service. We get to know our clients really well and everything is person centered. On a Friday the management get in their cars and deliver fish and chips to any client that wants them. They are also prepared to roll up their sleeves and muck in if needed. If you are facing a difficulty like illness or bereavement the support is unstinting. I have loved my time and am only leaving to pursue a different career path. It's a team effort we all support each other, everyone's effort is acknowledged and appreciated. It has been tough through coronavirus and lockdown but we have got each other through. I wish them every future success.

Rarely have I come across such a caring organisation. They truly go above and beyond and I mean this most sincerely. Without their support my father would not be able to stay independent and remain in his own home and I am always 100% confident that my father is being well looked after and his well-being is at the forefront of all they do in support of his care.

I have worked as a Carer for Lapis since they very first set out on their journey in the Healthcare field over 5 years ago now and what an incredible journey it has been! I have been so fortunate to have been able to witness how Lapis has blossomed from when I first started to now! Lapis is not just any old care agency in my opinion, they are the epitome of the word CARE agency, as they lead by example, theyre constantly thinking outside of the box on many things and they genuinely do care about both staff and clients! The wonderful managers and senior members of staff are always on hand to give advice, to actively listen or to jump in to help in anyway that they can and no problem is ever too big, there is always a solution at Lapis! I have worked with various different care agencies over the years, but Lapis is undoubtedly one of the best companies that I have ever worked for and I do not feel like I am just working for a company, I feel like I am working with a group of people who have become like a second family to me!
