Bleu Bridal Gowns

I first met Sue at a wedding fair in early 2022 where she took my details and offered to text in early 2023. Lo and behold, she kept her word and I was excited to book and try! Sue's customer service is exemplary: her knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. From the moment I walked in with my bridal team, she was attentive and knowledgeable, helping us to understand the process and timeline of the dress. She cannot be beaten on this! We were free to look at all the wonderful dresses she has in the barn (which is beautiful!) and 'tag' as many as we liked. When it came to trying on dresses, she listens SO carefully to what you like, don't like and want in your dress, which then enabled her to use her exemplary skills to help throw in some "wild cards" and also explain any modifications that can be made. I have ordered my dress with her today and she was just as wonderful in my 2nd appointment (I chose to go solo for this one), letting me get a real feel for my dress and how it could be altered. I cannot wait for it to come in! If you haven't booked into a bridal shop yet, go to Sue first: you won't be disappointed on any level! I had a wonderful and comfortable experience at Bleu- I was quite anxious about finding a wedding dress, Sue was so helpful and without her I wouldn't have found my dress. My guests & I felt really safe and at ease at the barn. Sue was honest & realistic, as my wedding was only 6 months away- but assured me a beautiful dress was still possible. Thank you! xxxx

What a wonderful experience! This is the first shop I went to so I was very nervous walking in. Sue made me feel really comfortable and at ease. We had the barn to ourselves which was really nice, as we didn't feel at all rushed. There was a brilliant selection of lace floral dresses (which is what I was after) - all in different shapes. They also had the more traditional, satin styles too. Sue was excellent at pinning the dresses to fit my frame, so I could really picture what the dresses would look like on the day. There were veils to try on, which I think are always nice to try on with a dress. She listened to what styles I liked and even picked out some 'wildcard' dresses I hadn't even considered. My favourite dress at the barn turned out to be a wildcard dress. Sue had a lot of knowledge on how the dresses could be altered and even adapted if I wanted, such as by adding lace straps or more buttons. So you have the option to have a completely unique dress if you want. It was completely covid safe as well which is important during these times. I definitely recommend this little barn, Sue works wonders and really helps you to find what look you're after and what suits your figure. She makes sure to listen to what you do and don't like, which I think is equally as important, as you want to wear something you feel comfortable wearing. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends when it's their turn to get married!
