A fantastic display of Gothic Revival architecture and workmanship. Medieval origin but completely rebuilt at the end of the 19th century.

An fabulously photogenic country Church that is visible for miles in any direction. Such a tall steeple and positioned on a brow of a hill .Probably one of the steepest graveyards that I've come across. Tucked away up a narrow country lane and I didn't see a carpark, but I could be wrong. Never got to see inside. Will still recommend it.

A beautiful church, set in well kept grounds, sited on the side of a hill in stunning countryside. I had admired this churches spire from afar, but today was determined to satisfy my curiosity and go on an adventure, so it was off to the village of Clive I went. Upon arrival at the village, you will find charming buildings if mixed ages, some quite ancient constructions, but the lane leading up to the church is a lovely walk, and indeed there is a path that will take you up above the church to a stone outcrop, where you will discover an unsurpassed view of the area, not far from Shrewsbury itself. Clive church was locked upon my arrival, but a sign nearby says you can contact the vicar whose name is Paul, who will open up the church for private prayers and contemplation, alas I was unable to enter, but the church grounds are open to the public, so if in the area do go along and see this wonderful place, and if your lucky the village hall will be open for coffee and tea. Above all, enjoy Clive church, as many have done for centuries.
