Be careful if your planning a fishing trip to this venue was all booked by the manager to then find out 5 days before our trip he hadnt booked us on so now the swims were taken, heard this this seems to happen all the time,shame as the lake looks lovely if your lucky enough to get to fish it !

My husband Gary Smith has just returned from a 48 hr session ,here is his experience . Ive fished Loggies lake before and caught 3 fantastic plated mirrors a few years ago, so I was really up for it this time.I arrived 8.30am on Thursday 24th November. The bailiff Ben met me on arrival and was straight away easy to talk to , he gave me advice on swim choice , the swims are very well maintained with wood sleepers and gravel ,which takes pegs really easily, weather was blowing hard with rain . I had a quiet day and night ,woke up to a lovely day, then my cooker hose decided to shoot flames out ,after a good think and hunt in my tackle I phoned Ben to ask him if he had some tape or anything to fix it , he arrived 10 mins later on with his stove ! I did blank, but just to be at this cracking lake , with very close access to all swims, what with my breathing problems was really nice, but Ben and his colleague Jack who was also talkative ,friendly , and very helpful , makes me chomp at the bit to return asap .
