Untrustworthy and untidy Note: review has resulted in threats from owner Terry Catt I was promised that the new fence post would be put in with fresh cement and the concrete from the old fence that I had removed would be taken away. Instead the contractor blatantly lied and broke up the removed concrete with a sledgehammer and used this to secure the new fence post rather than use all new cement like we agreed. Whether this was better or more secure or not, the fact is the contractor broke his promise and lied. Nothing was taken away like we had agreed. Further I was spoken to aggressively when I asked for a price reduction as I had removed the old fence despite being billed for removal and disposal of the old fence stated in the original quote. This saved the contractor a considerable amount of time as he stated himself that I had done half of his work but I was still charged the full price. Lastly contractor asked to use the side entrance which I did except the first time he walked through he was not careful to remove his shoes or use shoe coverings in fact he kept his muddy shoes on the whole time he was through the house and he left a trail of mud on 2 carpets and vinyl in our utility room and there was a lot of mud to clear up from inside the house after he left. This work and the mess photographed was carried out in my mothers house and everything expressed in this review is fully shared by her. This review has also been submitted to Checkatrade and Yell. Your guys have done a fantastic job, yesterday working in very inclement weather. I now have a very robust and beautiful new fence. Thank you very much and many thanks to them. UPDATE yet again your crew have done a wonderful job rebuilding the rest of my fence which was blown down in the last of the winter storms. I should also mention that your quote and final invoice was significantly less than friends of mine have been charged by other companies for the same or in some cases less work. So great VFM and full marks all round!

I never imagined I'd be someone overjoyed by fencing, but the folks from Guildford Fencing did such an amazing job replacing our ramshackle fence with a beautiful, solid new fence, we were absolutely delighted. Throughout the process their communication was faultless, and the quality of work was extremely high. The team worked hard throughout, and were friendly and chatty when we brought out hot drinks. They were fastidious in keeping the area clean and tidy, carefully protected our plants and were flexible to our needs throughout. Absolutely A1 service, would strongly recommend!
