Smart local pub with good beer on and a nice garden. Do think seven quid for a pint of pretty standard IPA is a bit much though

Wasn't a massive fan of this place. Food was really overpriced for a pub which is saying something as we live in Richmond (17 for burger), 7 a pint and staff were very aloof which made it difficult to get served. We had to move inside from the garden as no one came to take our order and inside was stupidly loud as no one seemed to be able to talk to each other without shouting. Bought a main, starter, pint and chips and it was 43. This is not value for money given what that gets you in a restaurant. To add insult we were charged 12.5% service when there was none. We had to get a menu ourselves despite asking for them when we arrived, we had to go to the bar to ask someone to take our order and the same when we wanted to pay as staff were staring into space instead of looking to see if anyone needed help. Not a great experience. 2 stars. The hand cut chips despite being 5 saved them from 1 star
