Bowood (London) LTD

Managing Agents invariably get a bad press & one rarely ever hears anything positive about them. I agree and I have endured dreadful service from several Manging Agents. NOT SO with Bowood. Bowood are the exception to the rule. My home is in a complicated building. Yet every problem that arises, Bowood work with us and come up with a solution. Sure, there can be problems with any building - but when we encounter a problem - Bowood sort it out. And economically - unlike most Managing Agents - the costs with Bowood are reasonable and fair; we do not feel like we are being 'ripped off'. All Costs are transparent and reasonable. I tend to be disappointed nowadays in Customer Service generally, which seems a thing of the past. Not so with Bowood - their Customer Service is excellent and I am delighted to have my home managed by Bowood and in "safe hands"

The worst managing agency in London, not helpful, nor friendly, however happy to take extortionate amounts of money for you for absolutely 0 service. Should you have a serious problem with your property just call emergency services because you wont hear anything back from these guys for days on end. Constantly deleting their reviews instead of facing the music and improving their work ethic. I've actually met people in other buildings who are forced to work with this company who have the same issues, how they continue to function is a mystery. They should be ashamed!

I previously ran the freehold myself with one other owner occupier. We chose Mark and his team at Bowood because they were friendly and approachable, and really understood the legal ins and outs of building management which was a huge relief for us. It took a year to get most things up and running and properly handed over, but we are very happy. As Directors, we are still the decision makers when it comes to what gets money spent on, and budgets are a collaboration. I think a lot of people don't understand how hard it is to manage a building on your own, especially when there are tenants involved, and can only see the negatives like the cost. But as someone who was previously expected to do everything, AND not get paid for it, I can safely say that the service provided by Bowood is very good.

Truly awful managing agents. Bump prices up massively without justification, try to bully residents into paying full amount every 6 months rather than paying it at a monthly rate (which has always been allowed with previous agents). Told to come to the office when requesting copies of paperwork as they refuse to just send it via post or e mail. They put their business as closed to delete the numerous bad reviews of them!!!! Truly awful, unprofessional agents. Avoid at all costs,
