Although the museum is small, it is surprisingly informative given the size. The greeter was friendly and very helpful in setting the scene. The herb garden is maintained to give a small flavour of abbey life. The layout of about 60% of the walls are visible giving you a nice impression of the size. The grave of King Edmund the Martyr is here. The video in the museum is a must watch to give you an impression of the size of the complex and views around town. The bookshop is well stocked. Entry is free but I would recommend the guidebook for 1 to follow the numbered signs around the site.
