I am disabled and was with LHGP for years. However I had to move because Im not sure what kept going wrong. Dr Rob Seal was great, dont get me wrong, but I was dealing primarily with him due to so many issues with practice doctors. They kept messing up my files (eg not marking me as disabled and priority for my COVID vaccines), I constantly had to chase things up and was fully disheartened by their method of going about things (which also included having an appointment with a doctor who tried to pressure me into taking more medication within seconds of walking into my appointment as well as giving me false medical advice (that cannabis caused 99% of schizophrenia cases in the Uk)). They also for a very long time employed reception staff who didnt know how to work basic front desk technology like email systems. Some of the doctors do care, but its the overall failure to the patients that is leaving me with this low rating. I hope they manage to step up in the future.

What a refreshing experience. We changed to this practice a 2/3 years ago after an awful experience with another practice and then almost forgot about it, as we simply didn't need it. A couple of days ago my son was unwell, first time in 8 years. I phoned in explaining his symptoms and the lady on the phone offered us a same day appointment: that itself was a first for me with the NHS. When we arrived, the young man at reception kindly greeted us and explained that unfortunately the IT system had collapsed. It happens, I thought. We sat down and waited a bit longer than our appointment time. After a while a doctor came out and told us to go and see him, as he "had seen us waiting for a while and didn't want us to wait any longer". We were done within 30 mins of going in, with nothing but kindness, respect and professionalism. Best GP practice in a long time.

I have nothing but good things to say about this practise. I've not had to access NHS services very often (luckily) but since being pregnant / having a baby, the times I have had to attend this practise have been great. The reception staff are friendly, the nurses are amazing (especially in the face of screaming infants at vaccination time) and the doctors are caring. I often feel guilty about seeing a GP in case I'm wasting their time given the current strain on GPs - but they're always really reassuring and understanding when I'm anxious about the wellbeing of my little one - and have encouraged me to check back in if I had any doubts about their health.
