MB Design and Architecture

MB design has provided an excellent service for our dormer loft, side and rear extension project. Millie really listened to our needs as a family to design a space that worked for us all and contained plenty of storage. Any adjustments to initial suggested designs were promptly turned around until the plans were exactly what we wanted. Millie also helped us a great deal with the planning application process, attending a meeting with a council planner that allows us to submit plans that passed without issues. I highly recommend MB design for anyone looking for a great architect.

Millie did a great job for us redesigning our downstairs living space at our home in Kent. She came up with some great ideas and then really listened to what we were looking for to make the layout work for our family. She successfully got our application through the planning processes nice and quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Millie to those looking for an architect for a home renovation.

I have know Millie for many years - firstly as the Director of PRP when she worked there before starting her own design company - and secondly when we employed her to help us design a major extension to our home and then prepare our application for Planning Permission. Throughout the time I have known Millie, she has always been responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. Millie combines an eye for design with a rock solid technical construction knowledge. She helped us successfully resolve a number of tricky construction details, put us in touch with a really good structural engineer and helped our Planning Application sail through without a hitch. Good architects are very difficult to find. We spoke to many before finally choosing MB Design and Architecture and, we are so happy that we did! Our project was an extensive extension, involving a remodelling of the kitchen and diner, the addition of a large family room and a first-floor office with a balcony. We are absolutely thrilled with the result. Millie was with us every step of the way and took such pride in the small, but important details like how to design a beautiful staircase. Nothing was too much trouble. The space which has been created looks amazing and works brilliantly for the sort of indoor/outdoor living which our family loves. There are no details which we would change. Something else we should mention is how well Millie worked with our brilliant builder. It was just so reassuring to know that a project which was so important to us was being completed by such a competent, capable and caring team.
