The Plough

We had been visiting The Plough at times after work and really could not have written anything negative about the place so I reserved a table for 15 to celebrate my birthday. So sorry I had to write this but the service I had received in the past was brilliant compared to how it was for my birthday meal. The food was nice ( so thanks to the chef) but we had to keep asking where our main meals or drinks were as we were not receiving what we had ordered and kept having to wait. The front of house staff were either tired or didnt care about the service given. Had we had received the foods/drinks as expected we would have stayed longer and spent more money. A pregnant lady took my booking when we were visiting The Plough and on numerous occasions she had done over and beyond to keep us pleased offering good customer service . It might have been different if she had been working that day Thank you

Excellent value for money food. Good service. Use this pub several times a year to meet up for dinner.
