A great place to come for a nice walk. The deer park is superb. There is a nice shop and a good 2nd hand book store. The cafe and facilities are also nice and clean.

A beautiful heritage property spread over an expansive 400 acres!( thats what we were told at the reception)... the ladies at the reception were very helpful, thank you.. we were given a map at the entrance which showed the various places available to visit, as well as the walks.. the map comes handy while visiting the property so make sure u keep it safe...the mansion itself is beautiful & very well kept.. especially the picture gallery & the grand staircase require a special mention...there is an accessible entrance from the back of the property so use that instead of the front entrance if you have a wheelchair or a pushchair with u.... there is a locker room to store the pushchairs .. there is also a complex with toilets, take away cafe and a cafe with seating arrangements where u could grab a bite.. The Easter egg hunt was on when we visited, which was nice.... the walks are really nice as the place is so beautiful.. we did the one mile walk along the river... there is a deer park as well which u can visit..in all a really nice place to spend a day.. my toddler enjoyed running around a lot as well :)
