Pelham Grove B&B Shrewsbury

My wife and I stayed for just one night in April 2023. On previous visits to Shropshire we had stayed in the usual chain hotels but Pelham Grove is on another level. We felt so welcomed by Jane and Trevor with tea and cake in the snug. The room was delightful, the bed was so comfortable and the en suite bathroom was superb. The breakfast was amazing! We were going to the theatre in Shrewsbury, which was only a 15 minute drive away (and none of the hassle of trying to find parking in the town centre hotels). In the other direction we were doing some family history research in Telford, which was equally as easy to reach. Pelham Grove is highly recommended.

We stayed over for a single night. Received a warm welcome from hosts Jane and Trevor who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Jane recommended and made a reservation for us at a lovely restaurant for the evening which was conveniently located just down the road. Could not fault the room at all as everything we needed was at hand and the entire house itself was spotless. The bed was very comfy and the evening was pleasantly quiet. In the morning we were spoilt with a selection of a fresh continental breakfast accompanied with a cooked meal to order. The stay was not expensive at all for what you are getting. Absolutely loved it and it was a pleasure meeting both Jane and Trevor. Look forward to visiting again if we're in the area.
