Wilkinson Eyewear Studio Sevenoaks

I was rushed through an eye test which resulted in an unexpected 4 point difference in my left eye. On wearing new spectacles I was unable to see clearly. I was informed that they need getting used to. I said the left lens was wrong and was told that you need to use both eyes as we see with both eyes!! I was also informed that the company has absolute faith in the eye examiner. I asked for a retest by someone different, result: my prescription hadnt changed so much that I need new spectacles after all. Time and energy wasted. Much money saved. Very disappointed and wont return.

My parents visited this branch today to have their eyes tested. They wanted me to pass on their thanks to the team at Sevenoaks - the service was excellent and everyone so friendly and helpful. Would most defintlrly recommend!

We have been using this Opticians for many years. They have a high reputation amongst people we know, but we can only speak from our own experience. This has been consistently excellent. The eye tests are thorough and the opticians themselves are friendly and approachable, happy to discuss, answer questions and offer advice. Perhaps that is not exceptional during an eye test, but what really sets Wilkinsons Sevenoaks apart is the quality of the subsequent dispensing service. The professional expertise is top notch, nothing is too much trouble, and theres no sense of time pressure whatsoever in choosing glasses or, crucially in the later fitting and adjustment. In particular, Simon Davenport, who is also the manager, is meticulous in getting things right. We couldnt have been more pleased over the years, and although were aware that a review like this might seem slightly unbalanced, there really is nothing negative to write. Its a genuine and deserved review from a local couple.
