I went into store and set an appointment for a blind fitting. They never turned up, nor did they call. I had to chase them to reschedule. Once rescheduled, the staff member arrived early. I explained that I was on a work call and needed 5 minutes (no one else was home so I asked them to wait in their car). after the 5 minutes I discovered the staff member had left. When I called, the response was haughty and rude. After some confusion of dates which I apologised for, we set a new date. Once again they never turned up. When I called, to see if they were on their way I got a rude response saying that theyd decided to cancel (without telling me) they then raised their voice exclaiming that id wasted their time. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Wouldnt recommend.

Please disregard negative reviews of the staff in this shop. The two ladies that severed me were friendly, polite and above all extremely helpful. I went in as a complete novice and was given advice and assurance what to buy and was wished well with my project. Great service please use this store over a large generic hobby supply store as we need to keep small business going. Thank you

Excellent little shop. Apart from the vast array of goods they also offer sewing machine repairs, a studio above for bespoke items to be made, needlecraft courses for local people and support TWAM. You would be hard pushed not find what you wanted in this little cave of wonders. I suppose if I wanted to criticise anything- you would not get a wheelchair inside but the staff are so lovely, I am sure they would get things for you. I just wish they were closer to where I live!!

I had some alterations done to a relatively cheap dress that turned up from ASOS and didnt quite fit but I didnt want to send back. Mrs Jebson did a great job and the dress now seems like an expensive one and fits brilliantly. Thanks!
