        Without knocking any of the good work that churches in our communities do, now that I am an agnostic atheist it will continue to puzzle me as to why it was deemed necessary to continue to build these elaborate theatres this late into the 19th century. Evolution was already demonstrable by then and belief in an unseeable, untouchable unknowable entity that no one can demonstrate to exist was being widely questioned. All too medieval for me.
