The Pightle is no ordinary B&B. Mike, the proprietor, is a charming gentleman who receives guests in his lovely home as he would his own family, and is dedicated to ensuring that they have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His house is located in a totally quiet residential area just a few minute's drive from the centre of Sevenoaks, and you can park your car on a private drive right at the front door. The single and double rooms are very comfortably furnished in traditional style, with central heating on winter days. Two rooms are ensuite, and there is also a large modern private bathroom with ample hot water at all times. The free WiFi is reliable and supports high-bandwidth applications. Mike personally prepares a sumptuous breakfast for his guests, cooked to meet their preferences, and it can be enjoyed in a sunny conservatory looking out on the beautifully tended rear garden. Love that Monet bridge! There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms, and a tray with an even wider selection of these beverages on the landing. Highly recommended as a home-from-home in the garden of England!
