The team provided great advice and recommendations for an unusual framing request. The framing work was beautifully executed. Unfortunately, on collection, the overall experience was let down by an egotistical and dramatic strop over a misunderstanding about a detail that had been clearly agreed on commissioning. My kids thought the situation was handled very badly. Id suggest that any special requests are clearly noted when taking orders to avoid any confusion. I also felt rather sorry for a lovely young family in front of us, who were asked to leave, as one of her children had a cold. Perhaps the owner should consider wearing a mask if he is concerned?

Just brilliant! Great advice and patience as we played around with colours and framing options and the final frames look fantastic. I am so pleased with the final pieces and definitely recommend them for any of your framing needs!

An excellent 'find; as not really local to us. We were quoted a very high amount locally to remount and frame a small picture in a frame we already had. We enquired at Portico and Malcolm did a splendid job at a far better price than quoted by the other gallery. He also advised us on a much larger picture we wanted to hang and fitted cord for us while we waited. A very helpful and competent service. Will definitely will use again and well worth the drive there,

I use Portico regularly for framing. I have always received excellent service and equally excellent advice on frame and mount combinations. I would unhesitatingly recommend.
