The bad reviews pretty much sum up our experience at No. 8 Sisters Hostel. Besides the staff being super nice, the place itself is rough. Our room smelled quite bad and we had to share it with some ants, who took over the lockers. All the windows were covered in mold, such as the bathrooms/showers. The beds were covered in sheets when we arrived, but even that couldnt hide the dirty mattresses. The bathrooms looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a while. You can see signs hanging in every room, that using drugs etc. is prohibited in the rooms, which already speaks for itself. That being said, you could clearly see leftovers of substances in the bathroom. We checked out immediately the next day. The reaction of the staff showed, that guests checking out because all of that seemed to be a frequent thing. This place really wasnt for us, but some people seemed to be fine with the described circumstances, nevertheless.

There is a cleaning lady but one wonders if she is really helpful? You don't feel safe in this establishment. In addition, the establishment only accepts cash, which is quite strange, because we are no longer in the Middle Ages. I'm not sure this trade is very legal. And finally we could not even get a refund when we wanted to cancel the reservation. (Original) Si je pouvais mettre 0 etoiles je le ferai, endroit trs miteux et hygine totalement absente. Moisissures dans les douches et fentres trs sales avec des pigeons. Il y a une femme de mnage mais on se demande si elle est vraiment utile ? On ne se sent pas en scurit au sein de cet tablissement. De plus l'tablissement n'accepte que le cash, chose assez trange, car nous ne sommes plus au Moyen ge. Je ne suis pas sre que ce commerce soit trs lgal. Et pour finir on n'a mme pas pu se faire rembourser lorsqu'on a voulu annuler la rservation.
