The cottage is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is set in a lovely area for both sightseeing or walking. We also enjoyed having a drink and bar meals in local pubs. I would recommend a journey on the Settle to Carlisle railway.

This is a beautiful cottage located at the top of Victoria Street on the Pennine Bridleway with a short walk into the centre of Settle. The cottage features modern decor whilst still retaining its historical charm and characteristics which make it a lovely place to stay. The cottage features a sizeable lounge with a huge window, making it feel bright and airy, adjoining is a spacious kitchen and dining area featuring modern appliances including a dishwasher, the kitchen also benefits from a stable door leading onto a terrace garden with patio furniture and nice views of the surrounding area. Upstairs, youll find a sizeable master bedroom with en suite, a guest bedroom which sleeps 2 and a separate bathroom with a luxurious freestanding bath tub. There is also a bedroom in the loft which sleeps 2 (mind your head though). Parking is very limited as the roads in the vicinity are quite narrow, I would recommend parking on the Greenfoot car park at the back of the cottage which can be accessed from a path nearby (you will have to pay and display but it eliminates the stress of trying to find somewhere to park nearer to the cottage, we paid about 15 which is enough for our week long stay here). There are plenty of things to do within Settle and all are within walking distance, you might have to tackle some hills getting to and from the centre though. If you fancy going further afield, youre not far from the B6480 which runs through Settle and the A65 which will take you down towards Skipton or up towards the Lakes and beyond, you also have Settle railway station on the famous Settle to Carlisle line. I highly recommend staying here, whether it be for a family adventure or a couples retreat.
