We had the fish and chips, have to honestly say it was the best I have had and a massive piece of cod perfectly cooked and the hand cut chips were to die for, proper authentic pub food a real throw back to the 70s. Fantastic place for a meal

Three of us had lunch here today and it was fabulous. Chicken goujons to start, really tasty with lovely fresh salad and sweet chilli sauce. 2 of us had the chicken jalfreizi coz we love spicy food and it was gorgeous, with perfect chips(like Mum used to make) and pilau rice. The beef and Stilton pie must have also been amazing as there was nothing left! Lovely wine and excellent service. Thank you so much to the staff and cooks. Looking forward to sitting out sometime soon as the garden area was looking great too.
