Saturday 29 4 23 Had the Chicken jalfrezi from the Specials board, also a portion of chips. Loverly meal tasty and we'll presented. Very reasonable price. Also wonderful day watching the Power boats.

Oh dear! This could and should be a great place for a drink and a bite to eat. But for some reason the staff and/or management put hurdles in your way every step! There's no fixed opening times, so you take your chances when you turn up. And tonight the sun was shining on a bank holiday Friday, the bar was full of people drinking and ordering food, so I went to the bar to order, and guess what? Another hurdle! You had to be "a racer" to order food apparently. So in future, we'll just steer clear of the hurdles and take our business elsewhere! What a let down for locals!

Clean, tidy, down to earth prices, good selection of beer. Been going here over 30 years and now better than I remember it. Then you have the views, breathtaking!
