        My wife and I had a great time at the Pack Horse Inn, Allerford. We stayed in 'Wisteria', a fantastic self catering apartment that suited us perfectly. Clean, cosy and the perfect base for long country walks right from the doorstep, we couldn't fault it. Owners Paul and Wills were very welcoming and gave helpful advice when we asked about local walks, the delicious scones on arrival were a nice touch, making our stay feel special from the get-go!         Stayed in Wisteria for a week in September 2022 & didn't want to come home. A fantastic holiday. Comfortable accomodation, providing everything you need for self-catering. Paul & Wills, the new owners are welcoming & helpful. Cream tea on arrival was delicious. A perfect place to stay to explore this part of Exmoor with a diverse range of walks on the doorstep. Allerford is a beautiful village. We are planning a return visit.
