        We popped in to have a cream tea about 3 years ago and have gone back time and time again. Such a lovely lady the post mistress . The cakes and cream teas are the best in somerset would highly recommend this wonderful place.

        A real pleasure to spend an hour in the company of the postmistress. She made us a wonderful pot of tea accompanied by a lovely jam scone. A Treat to listen to her telling us stories and sharing her passion and pride in her work. Allerford itself is a hidden treasure and a must see village just off the A39. You won't be disappointed....and don't forget to pop in the post office for a cup of tea and cake.....
