Stunning house with perfect views and great walks and generally a very relaxing area. The house is extremely clean and very inviting. The staff are very friendly and attendance to needs were top notch. Would definitely recommend Rooms: Very clean and attention to detail was 10/10. Had a TV in the room as well as a hospitality tray and a very comfy bed .. the room also had a great view.

This is undoubtedly one of the best country resorts in England. Their detail to service is unbelievable. Nothing anywhere is always perfect, but it is usually how the host and staff deal with problems. This had Swiss precision :-) The property was so well looked-after throughout, immaculate rooms, setting and gardens are of 5-star standards. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The linen in particular pleased us and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Guy, Emmy, and all the staff were always present at breakfast and served a wide choice of delicious foods. Where their "angels" come from to keep this large hall at such a high standard of good housekeeping and cleanliness is unbelievable as there were never seen! The manager, Guy, is extremely charming and helpful. We look forward to returning!

Not many, if any, owners personally come out and greet you in their car park. This one did, and was the benchmark of the service that followed on our stay. The personalised booking in, and the chaperone to our room, noting some of the house areas on the way. Everything catered for. Small fridge in the room, bottle opener, encouraging to bring your own food and eat in the dining area, even though there is an honesty bar at very reasonable prices, and a cheese board for that easy snack. The house and grounds are superb, shame we couldn't use the squash court or the tennis courts, but maybe have a game on the giant draught board on our return. The room was very comfortable with a massive bed, excellent 4k hd tv, and a very roomy bathroom, all extras provided with bottled water and bottled milk in the fridge. And decent biscuits! Breakfast, say no more, everything that you would wish to see, poached eggs to perfection. We have stayed in hundreds of places in the UK, and this is ranked as one of the best B&Bs on our list

Sadly we had only booked one night here, and the weather was awful. However that didn't detract from a great stay. Guy and his partner made us feel like we were at home, and the quality of the amenities was first class, We especially loved the two lounges with their amazing views, and the availability of drinks at very reasonable prices. Our room [Longpool] was a bit on the small side, so we would probably book one of the larger rooms next time but it was still great value for money; the bathroom was a good size and the bed, although a bit smaller than what we are used to, was very comfortable. The location is very peaceful, and we had a great sleep. WiFi was excellent throughout. We ate in Porlock [the Ship Inn, which was very good], which cost us 20 for a return taxi. In better weather it is a 30 minute walk along a quiet road into Porlock. Umbrellas were provided! My wife had a few treatments and massages which she was very happy with, and were reasonably priced. Bossington Hall is a stunning place: luxurious but with a very relaxing homely feel. It is priced very reasonably for what it offers. Guy is rightfully proud of what he has achieved here. We look forward to returning for a longer visit.

Set among the stunning Exmoor Scenery just a short walk from the beach, Bossington Hall is super luxurious. We stayed in the Allerford View self-catering apartment which is extremely spacious with a well-equipped kitchen containing everything you could possibly need. The whole apartment is beautifully decorated with all furniture and fittings to the highest standard. The Hall is beautiful inside and out, with a terrace that offers stunning views over the countryside and coastline. This really is a place to come and unwind. Though we visited in late February, the place was still beautiful, leaving us wondering just how great it would be to come back in summer! Guy and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Our stay was to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary and on arrival we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine. What a great gesture! Our dog Lottie was made to feel welcome and loved her walks around the grounds and into the village of Bossington.
