Built in 1911 Selsey Pavilion Theatre has place in the history books. In 1927 R.C. Sheriff, started writing the iconic WW1 play "Journey's End" in Selsey. The play, a worldwide box office success, premiered in London in 1928 with a young Lawrence Olivier in the cast. In 1933, R.C. Sheriff was involved (not sure in what capacity ) in an amateur production of Journey's End at the Selsey Pavilion Theatre. In October 2018 4th-9th, Arts Dream Selsey presents this beautifully written and observed play. Come and support this special venue.
