Someone else wrote "traditional fish and chips if that's what you're after" and gave a score of 3/5. I'd agree with the description but give 'em 5/5! A chippie with a queue is a good thing because locals know where to go. You have to wait here for a little while but it's not unreasonable. When your food arrives it's as fresh as you could wish for and you've just watched it being cooked. They take the skin off the fish! That makes a big difference to some of us. Carefully prepared. Crispy. Good portions, Fair prices. Fresh. Hot. Yummy. Job done. Atmosphere? In a chippie?? Takeaway?? Staff are polite and civil and take your order and move on to the next customer. While you wait you have a little banter with other punters and it's all friendly. You don't have to wait too long. Traditional fish and chips, if that's what you're after and done very well. Parking: Easy parking immediately outside
