Gary and his team from Seldon & District Funeral Service, provided an exceptional, professional yet very personal service throughout, they made such a difficult time bearable and helped us create a beautiful day to remember my mum Dilys and celebrate her life, the whole family would like to thank them so much.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Gary, Michael and Jackie. I couldnt have asked for a more caring, kind, gentle supportive service throughout this difficult time. From the very first phone call I made, this experience was the first for me personally, I felt as I was explained everything in detail right down our visit at Selsdon with my Dad. Gary was so understanding and sympathetic towards us, our cultural needs were definitely met and Gary explained the full process step by step in regards to the funeral service. You made this process so much easier for my family and I really appreciate your kindness and patience. I cannot express how respectful you all were, when you brought my grandma back home for the final time, so we could carry out our cultural prayers. The funeral service at Croydon Crematorium went so smoothly and was lovely. Thank you to the drivers who took our family in the limousines, you all were so respectful to us all. Thank you to Jackie who helped us get our grandma dressed and really made us feel calm and made the process so much more easier to deal with. I cannot recommend you all highly enough, thank you so much!

The attention to detail and the service provided by Michael and his team was exceptional, nothing was too much for them. The celebrant they recommended was amazing. It seems a strange thing to recommend a funeral director, but I would recommend this funeral director to everyone.

Gary and Michael have recently conducted the funeral for a very close and dear friend also called Garry. This is not the first funeral they have conducted that I've attended . Family, Relatives and other friends that have sadly died. As always they where the ultimate in professionalism, compassion and understanding and will always manage the proceedings with incredible precision and make the whole process absolutely stress free in all aspects. Even conducting the funeral of my partner during the lockdown when only 5 people could attend and they managed to co ordinate everything so that through filming the whole senario and making it available to watch online, which at that time was not freely available in Croydon. This was amazing as all those not able to attend could watch online via a link. The funeral just conducted was equally carried out with their usual precision and professional ism. I would recommend them to highest degree.

We had such a special experience for our 99year old Mum. She would have enjoyed it. The planning and delivery of such a sensitive service was second to none. Highly recommend Selsdon Funeral Service.
